Tapaspanda Foundation programme

With principles of individualisation, acceptance, self-determination, controlled emotional involvement, confidentiality, a non-judgmental attitude and purposeful expression of feelings, the goal of social work is a noble one: to help every individual in society, and to transform the structures that keep people from sharing fully in social services and community resources.

As a proactive reformer with integrity and competence, Dr. Panda strives to change and improve social law, social justice and the social system. He applies ethical principles that respect the inherent dignity and worth of each person, and leads social initiatives with care and respect for individual, cultural and ethnic differences.

The aim is a clear, single point of view for the future of social service at the Tapaspanda Foundation, a non-sectarian philanthropic organisation.

Serving the nation through social programmes

Staffed by social workers and grassroots volunteers from all walks of life, the foundation’s pioneering services start by identifying the needs of specific social groups. They then prioritise those needs, design services around them and deliver them in the social welfare sector, contributing to the development of social work in the country.

The Tapaspanda Foundation has developed many diverse programmes across India. They integrate faith and development, strengthen grassroots communities for self-sustenance and help people break free from discrimination, always working towards a positive impact on people and society.

Growing the people who do the work

The foundation also invests in its members and volunteers, teaching the practical skills needed to address significant social issues. It works to create and maintain professional standards, to grow a strong professional community, and to advance sound social policy and governance.
